Re-Opened In August 2009

The hotel re-opened in August 2009 after a major renovation project over seen and designed by its owner Andrew Brown, creating 16 individual yet affordable guest bedrooms.

Origins

In the mists of time the building as we now know was originally two hotels, The Lyngarth Hotel and The Anjill Hotel, the two hotels were converted into one approx 35 years ago and was called The Lyngarth, - however, it had recently lain empty for a long period falling foul of both vandals and the elements alike, and like a phoenix it has again risen from an abyss being re-christen The New Lyngarth.

Quirky Style

The hotel is not a normal hotel as we do have a slight eccentric style which not everyone always understands when they first come and stay with us.

The hotel is open all year round offering a warm welcome to business people, tourists and those just visiting for a few days.

Food & Drink

We are Licensed and have a friendly bar offering wines, spirits, whiskies, bottled beers and coffee.

Our restaurant is comfortable serving Breakfasts and Evening Meals.

The restaurant is open from 9 am to 10 am for Breakfast, where you will have a choice of:-

  • Fruit
  • Cereals
  • Full English Breakfast
  • Continental Breakfast

Evening Meals are served from 5.30pm. Evening meals can be ordered at the time of booking or before 10 am on the day. All meals are home cooked every day - see menu on the day to see what we have to offer.

Parking

The hotel does not have any parking (you may be lucky enough to find a space outside the hotel where you can park for the duration of your staff at The New Lyngarth) alternatively, there is a pay & display car park about 1 minutes walk away from the hotel further along in Banks Street (according to published information it is one of the cheapest car parks in Blackpool)
